Benefits of Transcendental Meditation for the individual and for society

Transcendental Meditation harnesses the source of nature’s intelligence at the foundation of the mind, which improves all aspects of mental functioning. As mind and body are intimately connected, this has measurable effects on the body too. Thus Transcendental Meditation brings wide-ranging benefit to every area of  life.

Transcendental Meditation allows the mind to identify itself with the unlimited reservoir of intelligence at the source of thought – the state of Transcendental Consciousness, bringing benefits in all areas of individual life.  However, the effects of Transcendental Meditation are yet more far-reaching:  the source of human intelligence is also the fountainhead of Nature’s intelligence – the Unified Field described by quantum physics – which underlies and governs everything in the universe.  By enlivening this most fundamental level of Nature during Transcendental Meditation, a person automatically creates a powerful influence of harmony and coherence in their environment. Extensive scientific research has repeatedly demonstrated that when even a small fraction of the population is practising Transcendental Meditation, improvements can be measured in society as a whole, as indicated by the reduction of negative tendencies and growth of positive trends.

As you will see when you browse the links above, Transcendental Meditation brings about changes in the individual in the direction of what is traditionally referred to as Enlightenment – perfect functioning of mind and body.
