Beatle’s son, James McCartney, makes his musical debut

According to The Sun newspaper, James McCartney, son of Sir Paul, has “a way with melody and a set of pipes, which are more than a match for his dad’s.”

James made his public debut during concert at Maharishi University Management on 14 November in Iowa, USA. Playing back-to-back sold-out concerts at the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts in the small Mid-West town of Fairfield, whose audience showered the artists multiple standing ovations throughout.

The event, a little more than 40 years after his Beatle father, Paul, travelled to Rishikesh, India, to study Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, was part of the fourth annual David Lynch “Change Begins Within” Weekend at the university. Lynch, filmmaker and director of “The Elephant Man,” and “Twin Peaks,” has established a philanthropic trust to help children under stress to learn Transcendental Meditation.
